Thomas Partey has sent a tweet to apologize to a young Valencia fan for breaking his glasses.
The Ghana international was an 81st minute substitute to shore up the midfielder after replacing Angel Correa.
At the end of the match, the midfielder played a ball into the stands without the intention of harming anyone.
Despite going without any intention that ball ended up hitting in the face of Valencia fan Jose Carmelo Llopis.
After the impact, the fan realized that his glasses had broken and had caused several scratches on the eyelid.
After the incident, the supporter of the Valencian club was attended by the medical team at the Mestalla.
After receiving the proper medical treatment, José went home, without serious health problems but with broken glasses.
Partey found out about the incident on social media.
He Tweeted: ''@josecarmelollb Good Morning, Joseph! I just found out that I hit you with the ball last night in Mestalla. I hope you're okay. I'm really sorry about the glasses, it was inadvertent!.. Greetings!.''
@josecarmelollb Buenos días José! Acabo de enterarme de que anoche te di con el balón en Mestalla. Espero que estés bien. Siento mucho lo de las gafas, fue sin querer!.. Un saludo!
